During the three-month artist residency with English Nature I am exploring the landscape of Thorne and Hatfield Moors, focussing on the themes of preservation and destruction.
In my work I have found a landscape that is constantly changing, and where every decision made for the site is regarded as preservation or destruction according to different people.
I am developing pieces of video based on what I see as a changing landscape. Whether people choose to interpret these as illustrations of preservation or destruction, I feel will be according to what they place value on in the landscape.
